President Bobi Wine yesterday met with global opposition leaders at a conference organized in Poland .
The President met Kenyan opposition figure Raila Odinga with whom they even shared a photo moment.
Bobi was one of the keynote speakers at the conference with the ‘Rolling Back Authoritarianism’ theme.
Also present was ex Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo, who commended Bobi for leading a civilian struggle to revive democracy in Uganda.
Bobi was hailed for challenging one of Africa’s last reigning despots, Gen. Yoweri Museveni.
“Today (Thursday)we met with opposition leaders and and freedom fighters from allover the world in Gdansk Poland for a round table discussion under the theme ‘Rolling Back Authoritarianism’,” Bobi tweeted Thursday. “It’s always great to reconnect and assess the progress of the fight for freedom and democracy internationally. This is a fight that we must win,” he added.
