The National Unity Platform party president Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine yesterday hosted a delegation of leaders from Greater Masaka region specifically from Kalungu district.
The meeting took place at Bobi’s private residence in Magere, Wakiso district.
The team was mobilized by the Kalungu East legislator Joseph Gonzaga Ssewungu
During the interface, two prominent NRM members were unveiled as new converts and recruits to the NUP party. They confessed their exhaustion and fatigue within the NRM party which they pronounced to be devoid of vision at the moment.
Bobi applauded the attendants and urged them not to be greedy for elective offices. He called on them to be servants at grassroot level.
“Delighted to receive a delegation of leaders from Kalungu District led by area Members of Parliament Hon. Ssewungu Joseph Gonzaga (Kalungu West) & Hon. Katabazi Francis (Kalungu East). The team included elected leaders, mobilisation teams and other key stakeholders,” Bobi tweeted.
